Fractional Laser
Fractional laser is a non-surgical cosmetic technique, that is done by using a device that delivers a laser beam divided into thousands of microscopic treatment zones which are distributed across the treatment areas and target multiple skin layers all at once. It’s used to treat sun-damaged skin, aging signs, and other issues. Moreover, it improves Collagen production, and accelerates the natural healing process of damaged tissues, which forms new healthy tissues.
The skin consists of three layers. First comes the Epidermis, which is the outermost layer of the skin that contains pigment-producing cells “Melanin” which is responsible for giving the skin its color. Next, comes the Dermis which contains Collagen and Elastin, as we age the skin becomes thinner and weaker as it loses its ability to produce Collagen which leads to wrinkles formation. Lastly, the third layer is composed of fat.
Here comes the role of Fractional Laser, as it can precisely reach the first and second layer of the skin, which will stimulate the middle layer to produce Collagen, eliminate Melanin that’s responsible for the skin discolorations, and rebuilds skin layers which treats pores and acne scars. This technique is unique, due to its high precision as it doesn’t harm the surrounding skin tissues not even minimal damages, because it doesn’t reach the adjacent areas.
